My First Trip- A 2 B ( Alld to Bbsr)

Hi everybody

In this blog, I shall be telling you about my first train journey which was from Allahabad to Bhubenshwar.

On 7th Dec 09 my grandparents came from Lucknow to Allahabad to take me along with them. Mummy and me along with my grandparents started our journey in Neelanchal Express. On that day Nanaji's health was not well so he was taking rest at home . Except Nanaji everybody came to bid " good bye " to me. I was enthralled by this royal "good bye" at the Allahabad station.

I found train journey very pleasant. Whole train compartment was experiencing slow rocking motions. I felt that I am in a giant cradle which rocks every now and then. My Shubhi Bua gave me a soft toy for my journey , which I utilized for playing in the train.

Grandparents & Mummy were happy to undertake this journey with me. They have prepared total of 11 bags which made coolies also happy at the respective stations. (more bags more porter charges!!!!). I am also grateful to Uncle who have exchanged his seat in the train compartment as we had only one lower seat. He was gem of person who left his lower seat for a lady ( off course that lady was me!!!)

Interestingly, I was so pleased with the rocking movement of my "giant cradle" that I never cried. There is a saying that you have to pay the price of pleasures, in this case recovery was done by train. After 2-3 hrs of journey, train was diverted from its regular route because of minor accident in the scheduled route. Now elders were viewing stations which were never expected. Everybody in the train started rationing available food stuff as we all were sure that now this train would take extra time.

Train route diversion is not new to me family. 13 years ago, it happened with my father when he was travelling his maiden journey alone. His train got diverted and missed the destination station. Fortunately in our case, train was diverted and brought back on the track by skipping some middle stations only. In the diverted track, we toured remote location of Jharkhand. Jharkhand is still unexploited and full of natural treasures & raw beauty. Elders were tensed and so was my father at the destination station( bhubneshawar). Train came back on track on Tatanagar but it had already consumed 12 extra hrs. I was unperturbed and was enjoying the rocking movements but elders felt the heat of delay with some unpleasant instances for eg . one of my feeding bottle deformed as it was not meant for big burner's heat in pantry.

Finally we reached at 2200 hrs when the right time was 1000 hrs.... 12 hrs late. My Daddy was relieved after viewing all of us.

Hence with all these flips and flops, I completed my maiden train journey. I can only summarise my this experience in the following lines of a song

when life ho out of control, to hothon ko kar ke gol

hotho ko kar ke gol, seeti baja ke bol

AAAALLLLLL Iiiiizzzzzzz Weelllllllllllllllllll

With this hit song of Amir Uncle, I am signing off this blog.....very soon you will read my next blog of bhubneshwar experience.

Take Care

Preparing for my first rail journey

Hi all

First of all sorry for not being so regular. Actually, I forgot my password. I would have written it somewhere but you know that, till now, I am not that proficient. You must understand how difficult it is to recollect when you have such a tight schedule ( sleeping, playing and taking diet).

In the last 2 months, many significant changes has come. That can be verified by my recent pic. Now my sleeping hours has reduced as compared to my initial months. Now I try to play more and observe the people around me. Normally I play with my mummy. She is my bestest friend. Sometimes unknowingly I hurt her but she forgives me as I am "Little Arya".

I was given vaccination in these months. That is really painful. Every time mom took me into car, they have used injection for vaccination. Whenever I get into the car, I underwent vaccination. Now I know that I am going to get vaccinated as soon as I get into car. People generally call it " Classical conditioning" in Psychology.

My Prashant Mamaji has come to us. He got engaged with a really beautiful "my would be mamiji". On 4th Dec , I enjoyed his engagement party and let all of them enjoy the party( as I was sleeping through out hehehehe :) ). On 5th Dec, katha ( form of prayer) was scheduled in my honour( I really feel like celebrity admist all these!!!!!).

Now I have to plan my first railway journey. Dadaji & Dadiji shall be coming to Allahabad and we will be going to Bhubneshwar. I was missing my dad and I think that he would also be missing me. I am excited about my maiden railway trip as 24 hrs travelling is not a child's play.

I will surely update you my first travel experience.
