I am 2 years old now!!!

Hi everybody
Took very long gap from the previous blog entry....but yes.. I am back....
Lot of things changed in between. I celebrated my 1st birthday in Bhubneshwar in Sept 2010 with my Buaji. My Buaji got married this year and I really enjoy fufaji's company. I was there at Allahabad for many months as Dad was touring China on & off.
I was delighted to see little baby "Navya" for the first time at my Nanaji's place. She is very cute and younger than me. I also played with Ved bhaiya and Aadhya didi.
I also played with Dadiji and slowly interacted with babaji at preetam nagar.
Latest development happened in Sept 2011, when my dad got transfered to Delhi. We are now in Delhi (Vasundhera Enclave).
Recently I celebrated my 2nd birthday in the new location. Though it was challenging but some how i managed it...... Making friends within a week is not a simple job but I did for my birthday. I have many friends now .... .....I invited them all. Here are some of the pics of celebration for you people

Events up to July....

hi every one!!!

I am sorry that I am writing after a long gap. Many event full things happened in the said gap.

Now I have started crawling and exploring the world. Initially my daily routine was very irregular. I went to sleep very late and kept on sleeping till 10 am in the morning. Though it was very troublesome for my parents (especially mom) but they say that I am adjusted to European time zones ( he he he ... )

It was a memorable day for my parents when I sat myself. My every new activities becomes matter of consideration for them. Many activities gave them pleasure & many gave them worry too. Whenever they are in doubt, dad used to check the said "behavior/activity' on web parenting portal (like indianparenting.com!!!!!). Most of the time, they got relieved as these activities are quite common to growing kids.

In recent months, Grandpa got an opportunity to go abroad for a month. This was the perfect opportunity for grandma to come to Bhubneshwar & spent time with us. On 21st June , grandma came to bhubneshwar and we had really a nice time together. After a month, grandpa also joined us. Here are some pics for your viewing.

Trip to Dhauli....... in pics

hi everyone...

Today I am going to tell you our outings in pics. We went to Dhauli ( shaanti stupa!!) on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon. It was quite calm and relaxing place (though not properly maintained but still quite peaceful). It has 4 big idols of Lord Buddha , one of which is sleeping Buddha.

We really had a very good time there. Right from the time we got there, drizzling started and whole environment was painted lush green.

This was the pillar on entrance where something was written in Japanese. When we were about to take picture on this place, dad suddenly tickled me and I burst into laughter. This picture is the result of good team work (dad's tickling, mom's capturing it on camera & me smiling as usual)

This is picture which was actually taken beside "Sleeping Buddha", was cropped as I became very tiny in the frame. Mom was happy to hold me as I was quite unusually and enjoying the fresh breeze of unpolluted air.

This is a enclosing boundary through which picturesque Bhubneshwar is visible. I enjoyed getting clicked at every location.

Dad has put a scraf on my head. My get- up now resembles a Khalsa (bole so nihal ....sat sri akaal!!!!).

Mom has wonderfully clicked this picture when we were not ready.....

After very long time, we finally clicked a family picture ( courtesy anonymous uncle who clicked the pic for us!!!)

I tried to stand on my feet....

A "not so bad" photography by Dad.....

Finally we came back to our house in the evening but the trip gave long lasting memories.....

My First Holi

So Uncles and Aunties...here I am with my most awaited Holi Blog.....

Oh! ok I know I am little Late with my blog but what to do ..Daddy takes away his laptop to office for the whole day leaving me with no other options but to wait till Sunday for my turn to come !!! (unfair isn't it???)

Anyway lets proceed by thanking Gaurav chachu & Divya Mausi for writing all that nice stuff about me... we all know that how little girl being showered with all these compliments & whoever said that i was an exception!!!!

Well the holi preparation were in full swing at my place. there was lot of hustle bustle as to what to buy , what to take, what not to take etc,. Whenever daddy used to return from office we would all go for shopping for the festival. I particularly enjoyed this phase as even though shopping was not planed for me , still mummy and daddy would invariably end up buying something or the other for me every time (aren't they just adorable!!!!)
We are scheduled to leave Bhubneshwar on 27th Feb , the whole day was a particularly hectic one & since i could sense something going I refused to sleep and be part of it. (though mom was trying her best to make me to got to sleep but in vain..) My daddy left for the office and I could see my mom packing & unpacking (though I was trying my best to understand what was going on , I just couldn't figure out.
So finally at 6:15pm we all left for the airport. My folks were quite tensed and scared of missing the flight bit I was quite at ease (now I know why they say "ignorance is bliss")

Finally we reached just in time & boarded the flight I was issued my first ever boarding pass (check the pic for same!!)

From the daddy's phone call to my babaji i could make out that we were going to my grandparents house which was in a place called Delhi!!! but beyond this I had no idea...

My first flight was comfortable & since I have seen my parents really tired that day I thought of not giving them much trouble so I slept through most of time so that my mummy & papa could chill & relax.

Finally within 2 hrs we reached Delhi. The airport looked really big and crowded & while daddy went to our baggage, I tightly caught hold of my mom's hair for the fear of not getting lost in the crowd (no wonder it made my mother quite uncomfortable but well I had to secure myself). In a while, daddy came to us & we left for my babaji's place. On the way I noticed this new city which was definitely bigger than bhubneshwar.

When we reached my grandparents house, we were greeted by my dadiji first. One surprise was waiting for all of us, who was my mausa-dadaji. He had come home and stayed back to welcome me when he understood that i was coming. There was Gunjan Bua also, who had reached before us. there were many happy faces that I was already feeling comfortable & had settled quite quickly there.

Next day (28th Feb 2010) I saw everyone busy with the preparations of Holi. Holi....??( another mystery for a child lik eme...) I racked my brain to figure out what the word (holi) means & why there is so much fuss about it. I looked at my mummy for some explanation but she looked back at me ,smiled and then I looked at dadiji, daddy, buaji & babji but I had to satisfy myself with few loving glances & some sweet words only (wish there was a kiddy language for big guys to understand)

In the evening , I met with my mausi-dadiji , mausa-babaji , Gargi bua & Raghav Chachu. As always I was the centre of attraction for everyone. Sometimes mausi dadiji was holding me then another time Raghav Chachu & Gargi bua were taking turns to hold me which made me feel quite special. There was lot of laughter, fun & joy around. We had a very nice time with them.

So finally the day of holi came & I could feel the festivity around. Kitchen had become the hub of all activities & some real nice aroma of all the food being prepared was coming from it, which made me wonder " would I get any of it"???

When my dadiji, buaji & mummy were busy in the kitchen, few didi's & bhaiya's (from the building) came to meet with meet with some colors in their hand, I saw them applying this color on everyone present and everybody seemed to be enjoying it.

After that I observed mumma & buaji playing with dry colors. Everyday was having a good time and I also wanted to be a part of this " Color playing stuff" but I was made to be a silent observer!!!

In the evening, I met with Gaurav Chachu . he was very emotional on seeing me & I connected to him quite quickly. inti tally , he was bit scared of holding me but after much encouragement we played a lot together.

Next day was declared a rest day for everyone. I could see everybody near me besides daddy. I wanted to be near my daddy but he was nowhere to be seen. All I could understand by mummy's conversation that daddy has gone to a place called "Mumbai" for some official work.

During this visit we also went to my mom's naniji's house to meet my great grand nanaiji, my mama-nanaji, mamai-nanaji, Dhruv Mama & Tarkshay Mama.

My great grand naniji was bed ridden but she was brimming with joy on seeing me (after all I was her 4th Genertation) . i played a lot with mami-naniji & chatted with mami-nanaji. they all said that I looked more like my daddy and I was quite pleased to hear that. It was happy feeling to meet them all (and I can surely say that the feeling was mutual). Taking every one's blessings we returned for my dadiji's place.

Another day everyone made freat plans for outing (which never mateialised!!!). Gunjan bua was not feeling well so we all stayed back at home & only mummy-papa went to a nearby mall (I guess this being their first and hopefully last outing with out me )
Next day early morning buaji departed from Delhi. That same morning we got a wonderful surprise as Shruti Bua & Manas Chacha came to meet us. Though they left very quickly it was fun meeting them. It was nice knowing the family I was a part of . the love and affection, I was getting from everyone, made me overwhelm.
That same day we also left for Bhubneshwar. The return journey was equally comfortable & while my parents had a cup of coffee it gave me time to ponder as to what exactly Holi meant to me. It meant bonding with family, It meant getting and receiving love . In a nutshell it meant being together.
Though this is just my version.... I would certainly like to know more from you in the form of comments....so keep on writing comments ....
bye n take care
