Days in Bhubneshwar

Hi everybody

Continuing with my last blog on my first train journey, my stay at bhubneshwar was full of surprises. All of us went to Jaganath Darshan to Puri. I enjoyed Dadaji's company which is evident in the uploaded video ( Dadaji & Arya's Jugalbandi).Dadaji left for New Delhi on 17th Dec 09 but I enjoyed dadiji's company till 8th Jan 2010. We went to famous Lingraj Temple where dadiji thanked God for me. I alongwith dadiji & my parents celebrated my first new year occurrence (happy 2010 to you all!!!) . Dadiji on her return journey to Delhi took more than 2 days to reach delhi as train avoided a major accident. I actually missed dadiji after her return to Delhi.


After 9th Jan 10 parents were all alone to serve me. They were afraid and little apprehensive. I continue to give them sleepless nights but slowly they adjusted themselves in my pattern. Mom actually had double trouble as whole nights she used to wake up with me and in morning she has to do household works. Dad also tried to match up mom's benchmark of " sleeplessness" but missed considerably.

My parents world was now encircled into my sleeping pattern, vaccination schedule, health check up, medication, household/outdoor works. In spite of this hectic schedule I made two good outings.

One sunday (on 10th Jan 2010), we went to Rohit uncle's home. We have given them the time of 11 am but reached at 3 pm as we were finding pulse polio booth in our area. Finally I got pulse polio drops at Capital Hospital- Bhubneshwar. Even though we were late, uncle & aunty gave us a warm welcome (esp to me!!!). Mrs. & Mr. Rohit Saboo are very sweet couple and their house is very well decorated. Rohit uncle played with me and that was my pleasure time. Aunty prepared mouthwatering dishes which was evident to me because of aroma. We came back at 4:30pm and this was indeed a well deserved trip for all of us esp mom.

Second trip was on Jan 27 2010. It was the birhday bash for Nisha Didi ( Chockolingam Uncle's Daughter) & my first attendance in birthday parties. I wore a bear- dress which made me look like a soft toy( plz see the attached pic ).To my parents surprise, I was behaving as a pure social animal. I never cried in the event and was very comfortable in gathering, party music, disco lights. I also made lots of friends like Ms Farsana, Ms Shazia ( she is holding me in the attached pic) & Ms Nandini. In the party only, I saw an Infant ( who was younger than me!!!!). Her name was Ojas ( Prashant Uncles's younger daughter!!). She was very cute and was sleeping in her mother's lap. I heard that her sleeping pattern was also like me but she usually gives concession to her parents by sleeping around 1 am ( my time is 3:30 am he hehehe!!!!).

There was one important outing which was planned in the month of Jan but never materialised.We had planned to visit Raghav chachu's "thread ceremony" on 19th Jan at Faridabad. All of us were very excited. Dad planned extensively for the journey from our flight bookings (after all this would have been my first air travel!!!) to his Amritsar train travel. There was a probability to call off this plan because of my health. In spite of very cold weather in Delhi, Dad tried to stick to plan but it was cancelled(because of some urgency in his office !!!). All of us felt very bad as this was a good opportunity to meet many relatives like Gaurav chachu, Manas chachu,shubhy bua, Gargi Bua, Raghav Chahu ( VIP of ceremony !! ) and all other grandparents.

By the end Jan, we were eagerly awaiting the arrival of Grandparents & Dr. Gunjan Buaji at Bhubneshwar
